The Presidency has congratulated the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji on the successful passege of Abians in Diaspora Commission Bill into law.
Recall that accolades have continued to trail the action of the State Assembly under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Orji with the support of the state governor.
The Presidency also hailed the Abia State House of Assembly in general for being the first State House of Assembly, to have enacted such a law.
Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), took to her official Twitter handle to congratulate the Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu and the Abia State House of Assembly on the rare feat.
“Abia State makes history as the first state to have a state commission on diaspora with the passing today of the Abians in Diaspora Commission Law. Big gratitude to the Parliament, (and) His Excellency the Governor”, she tweeted.
