Presbyterian Church Of Nigeria Prelate Salutes Sen. Kalu On Infrastructure, Education Scholarships [Photos, Video]

Prelate and Moderator of The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, His Eminence Nzie Nsi Eke has applauded the Senator representing Abia North, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu for massive road infrastructure and other life-impacting strides he has achieved since he came to the Senate.

The clergy also thanked Senator Kalu for his scholarship scheme that has enabled Abians and people from other states to study in Nigerian and foreign universities, ABN TV reports.

His Eminence Nzie Nsi Eke and his entourage had visited Sen. Kalu at his Abuja home shortly after the 175th-anniversary service North Synod of the church which took place at the nation’s capital.

He said the Senate Chief Whip has demonstrated capacity and willingness to touch the lives of people of Abia North, the state and country at large, urging him not to relent.

Sen. Kalu in his response applauded His Eminence Nzie Nsi Eke for being exemplary and a model in uniting the body of Christ and the nation at large.

Commenting on the sit-at-home order issued by the leadership of IPOB, the federal lawmaker commended the suspension of the order, insisting that it is unhealthy for the economy of South-East and the nation at large.

Those in attendance include the prelate’s wife, Elder Mrs Nkechinyere Nsi Eke, Most Rev. Dr.(Associate Prof.) Miracle Ajah Principal Clerk of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria and wife The Rev Mrs Divine Miracle Ajah, and Rt. Rev. Solomon Okoro Deputy Principal Clerk of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria and wife Elder Dr Mrs Ijeoma Okoro.
