Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu
The Governorship Candidate of the Action Peoples Party (APP) in Abia State, Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu, was today Saturday August 13th, 2022, honoured by the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria (PCN) at Hope Waddell, Calabar with a special recognition award.
The Award “Kingdom Builder”was presented by the Prelate and Moderator of the PCN, Most Rev. Nzie Nsi Eke and was received by Hon. Liyel Imoukhuede, the brother to the former governor of Cross River State on behalf of Chief Mascot Kalu.
The prelate while presenting the award extolled the great contributions of Mascot Kalu toward the growth of the body of Christ.
He further applauded him for his interest in the development of the youths through different skill acquisitions and seminars to empower them.
He added that the kingdom builder award is to acknowledge his (Mascot) success so far in the aspect of growth,development and love for people to actualize their ideas/ dreams and encouraged him to continue doing his best in God’s kingdom and work.
Hon Liyel Imoukhuede thanked and congratulated the church for recognizing greatness when they see one. And that he was excited to be in their midst and representing a man like Mascot Uzor Kalu who has shown that good leadership is ordained by God.
He also delivered Chief Mascot’s goodwill message which emphasizes on the need for the church to be proactive on the call for good governance ahead of the 2023 general election.
