Rev. Dr. Uche Ume, Senior Pastor of Power World Ministries International, came to the aid of a struggling final-year student of Ebonyi State University (EBSU), Miss Angela Onu, who was contemplating ending her life due to lack of support.
ABN TV gathered that during the Aflame Family Eagles Convention held at Assemblies of God Divinity School, Umuahia, on Friday night, August 9, 2024, Rev. Ume, through a word of knowledge, located Miss Onu and assured her that God had not forgotten her.
Miss Onu, who was overwhelmed with emotion, revealed that she had been unable to pay her school fees and had been approached by men who offered to help but demanded sexual favors in return.
Moved by her plight, Rev. Ume immediately presented her with N150,000 to cover her school fees, sparking a chain reaction of generosity from others in attendance. By the end of the service, Miss Onu had received a total of N320,000.
This selfless act of kindness has restored hope and renewed faith in the young student, who can now focus on completing her studies without the burden of financial stress.
Rev. Ume’s timely intervention serves as a testament to the power of compassion and the impact one person can have on another’s life.
