A famous crossdresser, popularly known as ‘Abuja Area Mama,’ has been found dead in the Banex, Wuse II area of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
ABN TV gathered that the crossdresser, whose full name is yet to be ascertained, was seen lying motionless along the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway on Thursday morning.
According to Josephine Adeh, spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, operatives responded to a distress call and rushed the individual to Maitama District Hospital, where doctors confirmed the death.

The full name of the deceased has not been released, and the cause of death is still unknown. The Police Commissioner, CP Benneth Igweh, has ordered a comprehensive investigation, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
