Pollet Bassey Floors Andrew Augustin To Emerge First Female Catholic Youth President

In what appears to be a historic event, Miss Pollet Bassey has been elected first female president of Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON) St. Bernard Parish Marian Hill, Calabar.

She polled 106 votes to trounce Mr Andrew Augustine who garnered 39 votes to come second.

The election was conducted by the Parish electoral committee and supervised by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr Charles Etim.
