Policemen in four pick-up patrol vehicles have taken over the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abuja, following a court judgment suspending the party’s National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, on Wednesday.
It was observed that at least five patrol vans and an armoured personnel carrier (APC) were stationed around the secretariat.
The officers prevented some persons from going into the APC headquarters.
It is unclear why the police moved to the headquarters of the ruling party hours after a court ordered the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as national chairman.
