Police Delegation Pays Condolence Visit To Family Of Late Friday Arunsi In Ohafia (Photos, Video)

A Deputy Inspector General Of Police (DIG) Mr. Celestine C. Okoye on Thursday, April 23 paid a condolence visit to the family of Late Mr. Friday Ifeanyi Arunsi who was on Saturday, April 18 shot dead by a team of allegedly drunk police officers in Ebem Ohafia, Abia State.

DIG Celestine C. Okoye landed in Ebem on a Helicopter to commiserate with the family of late Friday Ifeanyi Arunsi.

He was taken around the community by the T.C Chairman of Ohafia local government area, Hon. Fred Eke Idika and other top police officials from the Abia state police command.

Recall that Abia state Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu through his deputy, Rt Hon Ude Oko Chukwu, the former Abia State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ene Okon have all paid condolence visits to the bereaved family of Late Mr. Friday Ifeanyi Arunsi

The team had also commiserated with those who sustained a varied degree of injuries after the careless shooting by the drunk police officer, a situation that led to a peaceful protest by youths of the area.
