Kaduna Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has moved the deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II out of Awe local government area of the Nasarawa where he was banished on Monday by Kano State Government.
It is not clear whether they are heading to Kaduna or Abuja.
But the Emir left with the Governor who earlier visited him.
El-Rufai and the dethroned Emir left Awe at about 4:27 pm after observing the Friday congregational prayers.
Sanusi led the Friday juma’at prayer at the Awe central mosque where he admonished faithfuls to take whatever situation they found themselves as destiny.
Their departure, our correspondent gathered, was in-connection with a Federal High Court judgment in Abuja on Friday ordering his immediate release from confinement
