Supporters of Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, better known as Obidients have said nothing will stop them from holding the planned rally in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
This is in response to the reported grounding of the Obidient plane in Lagos by the federal government.
This was confirmed in a statement by Diran Onifade, media head of Obi-Datti campaign.
Though, Diran said the Obidient plane was grounded by the government over regulatory reasons.
He said, “The Obidient plane was grounded today by the powers that be “for regulatory reasons” only. Please ignore any mischievous rumour. Our massive rally in Ibadan is going on as planned.”
