Persons Living With Disabilities In Abia Pledge To Vote APGA Governorship Candidate

The governorship candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA, Professor Gregory Ibe says if elected the next governor of Abia State, his administration initiate fair deal in favour of persons with disabilities in the state.

While assuring that he will include them in his scheme of affairs said he will ensure robust empowerment packages and scholarship schemes for them, noting that APGA is a disability-friendly party.

Receiving the state and 17 local government executives of joint national association of persons with disability who had come to adopt him as their sole candidate ahead of the the March 18 governorship election, Prof. Ibe expressed gratitude to the association for choosing him as their sole governorship candidate.

In their speeches, the deputy national chairman of APGA, engineer Uchenna Okogbuo and state chairman of APGA, Reverend Augustine Ehiemere described Ibe as a candidate with a passionate spirit to develop Abia of healthy people which made him to organise free medical outreach for the whole seventeen local government areas in Abia State.

Earlier, the joint national association of persons with disability, Abia State chapter, ambassador Wisdom Okechukwu said they came to congratulate Professor Greg Ibe for his victory at the supreme court and pledged to support his governorship ambition.
