Following the recent burning of Ebem Ohafia police station and a customary court in the community as well as torching of DPO’s home as a result of the killing of Friday Arunsi, an indigene of the Ebem community by a team of policemen, the investigation has revealed that perpetrators of the arson are not members of the community.
This is according to the newly deployed Commissioner of Police in Abia State, CP Janet Agbede
The CP in a recent chat with Newsmen said efforts are being made to arrest those who took part in the public disturbances.
