Former National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, president Bello Shagari, has claimed that those behind the Naira redesign policy are working for Peter Obi, the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate.
Shagari also stated that Obi’s chances of winning the upcoming presidential election were improbable.
His statement was published on his verified Twitter account on Friday.
He claimed he mistakenly believed the policy was the work of the Peoples Democratic Party or PDP.
“I heard that a group of people influencing the decisions of this monetary policy, which is causing economic hardship for Nigerians, is actually working for Obi,” he wrote. Some of us mistook them for PDP employees.
