Chimaobi Ebisike of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP has been declared winner of Saturday’s Aba North and South Federal Constituency bye-election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission’s Returning Officer for the constituency, Professor Fidelis Okpata of the Federal University Ndufu Alike Ikwo, Ebonyi State announced Ebisike polled 10,322 votes to defeat his closest rival, Mascot Uzor Kalu of the All Progressives Congress candidate (APC) who scored 3,674 votes.

Candidates of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Destiny Nwagwu, and the Action Alliance (AA) candidate; Okey Prestige, polled 1,554 and 199 votes respectively to come distant 3rd and 4th while the candidates of the APM and NRM scored 10 and 13 votes respectively.
