The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) National Working Committee (NWC) has immediately suspended Senator Chimaroke Nnamani (Enugu State) and Chief Chris Ogbu (Imo State).
This is said in a statement by the party’s national publicity secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba.
He claimed that in accordance with the PDP Constitution’s provisions, the suspension of the pair was decided upon following a thorough examination of the Party’s operations across the nation (as amended in 2017).
They were reportedly suspended due to alleged anti-party activities, according to AbnTv.

He claims that the NWC also authorized the suspension of the Party’s under-listed members in the state of Ekiti due to claims of anti-party activity.
Ayeni Funso (Ekiti North), Ajijola Lateef Oladimeji (Ekiti Central), Emiola Adenike Jennifer (Ekiti South II), and Ajayi Babatunde Samuel (Ekiti State) were the members he mentioned as having been suspended (Ekiti North II).
Others include Fayose Oluwajomiloju John, Akerele Oluyinka, and Olayinka James Olalere (all from Ekiti Central) (Ekiti Central I).
“The PDP asked all leaders, crucial stakeholders, and teeming people of our Party across the country to remain together and focused on the Party’s goal to Rescue, Rebuild, and Redirect our nation from misrule,” he said.
