PCN @175: Women Team Trounces Men 1-0 In Novelty Match In Umuahia (Photos, Video)

In celebration of 175 anniversary of the Church, Presbyterian Church Of Nigeria, PCN South-Central Synod has marked the event with a novelty match in Umuahia, where the Women’s Guild (WG) dealt a heavy blow on their male counterpart of Men Christian Association (MCA) with a 1-0 win.

ABN TV reports that the winning goal came after a 1-1 equalizer, in the highly entertaining match which took place on Saturday, 18th September 2021.

The playground of Ibeku High school Umuahia, Abia State where the match took place was a beautiful sight to behold as members and non-members of the church watched amidst cheers.

Despite their loss, the male team left the football pitch happy as it provided entertainment for spectators.
