Ozisa FM Only Temporarily Suspended Not Shutdown — Management

The management of Ozisa 96.1fm Owerri, Imo state has denied speculations that the community radio FM has been shut down, saying it was only temporarily suspended.

The management in a statement made available to ABN TVon Monday assured listeners and other stakeholders that the issue for which it was suspended is being addressed.

The radio station also expressed appreciation to the National Broadcasting Commission NBC for its understanding.

It further clarified, “That Ozisa Radio Station is not owned by the Catholic Church but rather by Ozisa Foundation for Peace and Social Development and that it is in the church premises on a leased property.

“We would want to discourage all speculations and inciting statements.

“Ozisa Radio will continue to offer a platform for the community to contribute and foster civic responsibility and integration.”
