Over five hundred motorcycles seized in Abuja have been destroyed by the management of the FCT Directorate of Road Transport Services( DRTS)
The Director FCT Directorate of Road Transport Services, Wadata Bodinga, who led the Taskforce on Abuja Traffic decongestion, says the operation is to send warning signals to those who refused to obey the transport regulations in the FCT.
He explained that the crushed motorcycles would be used for other products.
Some Abuja residents express concern by the action of the FCT Directorate of road transport services which they think may just be a catalyst to complicate the very precarious security situation in the FCT.
