The President of the Association of Corporate Governance Professionals, Sam Ohuabunwa, on Wednesday in Kano, declared that his mission in joining the 2023 presidential race is to restore lost hope.
He alleged that the nation’s leaders are only interested in sharing money and not serving citizens.
Ohuabunwa spoke while addressing executive members of the Kano State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party during his visit to Kano to express his interest to contest the 2023 presidential election.
The aspirant said he was not in the race to seek power, fame or money but to restore Nigeria to its former status of peace and prosperity.
‘’Majority of our leaders are not honest, rather than change, the country is degenerating to a state of insecurity.
“Our leaders’ stock in trade is to collect and share money to their cronies, rather than promoting and protecting the interest of the country.”
