Hon. Ojisi Iro Ogbaja, popularly known as Abacha returned as the state chairman of the Movement, with Barr. Sam Ogbonna emerging as the Secretary, while Barr. Helen Okoroji is now the State Woman Leader.

This came after the dissolution of the exco in order to run a slimmer leadership of the Movement.

Speaking with ABN TV on Wednesday, the Chairman of OUK Movement said the Board decided to dissolve the exco from ward to the state level in order to concentrate energy towards mobilizing grassroot support ahead of 2027.

“We fought a very good fight in 2023 to ensure that Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu returns to the Senate using this same structure and we are preparing because we want the organization to bounce back stronger to face the challenges ahead of them come 2027.

“One of the reasons for forming this organization is to capture power, to ensure that members of this organization are elected into positions of authority”, Ojisi noted.

He insists that when good people are in leadership positions, the people rejoice, an instance which he said is witnessed in Abia North which is represented by the founder of the Movement, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu.
