A group, OUK Friends International has condemned the activities of South-East APC Integrity Group which it said is an attempt to malign one of the leaders of APC in the zone and Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.
OUK Friends International was reacting to opinion poll conducted by South-East APC Integrity Group which it describes as a sham, insisting that due process was not observed in the conduct of the said poll.
John C. Nnah, Director of Secretariat of OUK Friends International in an article insisted that the group is working for a certain political interest whose aim is to achieve political breakthrough through the backdoor.

SOUTH EAST APC INTEGRITY GROUP – A Mere Thunderclap Not A Tsunami.
The OUK Friends International read with utmost disgust the embarrassment a group that calls itself South East APC Integrity Group has subjected her name through a mockery opinion poll. At that, the words of Oswald Chambers immediately came to our mind. Hear him: “The deadliest Pharisaism today is not hypocrisy but unconscious unreality.” We have subjected their motives to closer examination and could only summarise it as Obsessive Compulsive Impulsion.
A Mockery Opinion Poll
“Opinion polls are similar to surveys or an inquiry designed to gauge public opinion about a specific issue or a series of issues in a scientific and unbiased manner.”
Take note – scientific and unbiased!
If indeed they conducted an opinion poll, let them kindly supply answers to the following:
1. The pollsters
2. A good representative sample of those interviewed
3. Sample limits
4. The questionnaires
5. Dates and places of conduct
6.. The type of poll
7. Methodology
8. Percentage error well explained, etc.
There is no doubt that they have been hearing about opinion polls, but copied wrongly and pasted wrongly, too. We shall gladly leave the task of explaining further what opinion poll is, but advise them to engage consultants to avoid more ridicule.
Obsessive Compulsive Impulsion
We think that those who are maligning His Excellency, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu (OUK), have a peerage predisposition toward a disorder and it has heightened to the point of impulsion. The causes here are not biological or spiritual, but economical and political. OUK has created intense thoughts and worries in them. We are told that the poll was the second in the planned series. That suggests that there will be more, and it means that they have perfected a ritual to decrease their anxiety. We have gauged them from afar, and the anxiety is very real and overpowering; and it is catastrophic! They are at the level of “we must pull him down.” They are now at the threshold of impulsive behaviour, and they will stop at nothing to achieve their aim. And we are watching and waiting!
Social Climbers
The current Pope of the Roman Catholic Church, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, Pope Francis, calls them “social climbers.” They do not know the social and political implications of that joke. They are anxious to gain a high social and political status overnight, stepping at the back of others who are ahead of them. We have read many well-reasoned responses to their unholy crusade and discovered that their paymaster is struggling against the weight of obscurity and gracelessness. After a diet of berries and lizards they emerged from a shoebox to destroy someone’s political career built over years. Please, sir, the opinion-poll-number-one, “you never ask directions on the Moor from a stranger, for he may be a boggle who will send you the wrong way.” “If you do, every drop of beer you drink will be soured.” You need the food that will warm your heart and you should select the right people to prepare it. You are preparing for a war with a small, unarmed and inexperienced army. Presumptuously, you wish to seat in the company of angels. But do you believe in angels? Come along with us. ‘Integrity Forum’ we don’t have to question your street creed, but one thing is obvious – the empty nesters shall soon be leaving just as fast as they gathered for the crumbs. Building a political safety net is not a day’s job. But we are not seeing the actions of your group as heart-stopping brushing with hunger, but an overzealousness of sort. We are promising you that your momentary bliss shall soon be halted by the nauseating bubbles of your extreme tendentiousness.
Echoes of Distraught
There is a sharp decline in internal coherence of the parry. This also made the party to lose some states in the last election cycle. We need good race relations at all levels and we should all work on mutual trust and good faith. In OUK FRIENDS INTERNATIONAL, we have been overwhelmingly liberal in sentiments. The state executive officers should agree with us that the sham called opinion poll shouldn’t have featured on our platform, but should have been kept for the consumption of the paymaster. The price paid by the organisers is that they must have lost their professional pride, if any. For their paymaster, his entire political goal for the future has become utopia. We know that we are not in Acadia, but there should be deliberate move to eschew political bitterness and rancour to check further fragmentations. The cleavages are legion! Also, we are seeing part of the antagonisms as a ghost of political inactivity. But the next cycle of elections has timetable and the political jobbers MUST wait until the whistle is blown.
Needless Antagonism on an Implacable Foe.
We know that this is also an offshoot of unbridled political chase, and it is not that we can not absorb the insidiousness, but in politics it is imperative to define ourselves before others do it for us. And “in this life, reputations are destroyed quicker than they are built.” Hence we can not allow an iron-winged elephant to fly over us. Or, who can sanction a winged goddess?
We know that there are political neophytes seeking to come on stage. We also know that the older would not just start changing and yield space to the new except there is a push. But the new should as a matter of fact contest the space fairly and honourably. Also if new should be crafting for himself an image of the quintessential new-breed, must it be by antagonising others? It is obvious that the group had taken one political misstep. The doyen of the group should have forewarned that they were treading on controversial political landscape by that singular act.
OUK Friends International is made up of farseeing compatriots, and we know that the sham opinion poll was conspiratorially targeted at OUK.
People are losing sleep about his national and international reach and are now trying to rubbish his folkish standpoint. In a compact front, he would outsmart and outclass them.
This is politics, so, we shall not allow any issue to lean on judgements of parochial sentiment. We can see anger, envy and desperation looming and all this is out of naivety and hapless resignation and that is why they are touting for an unpopular method. But no way, for us, we couldn’t have forgotten our name. We shall welcome evey challenge.
The Meat of Our Message.
In order to avoid a cacophony of voices and views from our side, we wish to offer a few words to South East APC Integrity Group. OUK has developed thick, tough skin and as such doesn’t give a shit; he knows his seasoned peak, until the die is cast. There will be nothing like amazing good luck, neither is this an issue of rolling dice or throwing crystal balls, but political business, so you have to brace up your guards.
Don’t allow your foot soldiers to deceive you that your political acceptability is at a breakneck speed. No, political reputation built on a foundation of smoke and mirror will surely fail.
We are not dampening any person’s hope to avoid early foreclosure, but we are advising politicians to engage people who weld razor-sharp logic and scalpel like insight to give them unbiased opinion. The latter will guide them through challenging, risky and downright scary political adventure. It is a slowly downing realisation that more weightless adventurers may leap onto the stage. Such adventurers should make sure they don’t rely on those who can not make them, but can make their ticker to simply stop thinking.
Others who are merely looking for a new burst of life should look beyond the beauty of their relationship with present power holders and start building structures.
Those who wish to build a political career highway should know that the framework to follow is not a mockery opinion poll that will only offer a comic relief to watchers.
Thank God, what concerns all should be approved by all, so until the stage is set.
