Governor Alex Otti has called on Nigerians to set aside present frustrations and recommit themselves to building a united and progressive nation.

Speaking in Umuahia during Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary celebration, Otti acknowledged that while many citizens have felt disappointed with the country’s trajectory, the spirit of patriotism remains alive.

“We must never mistake momentary discontent with lifetime disconnection,” he said. “Even when we are dissatisfied with the state of affairs, deep in our hearts, we love Nigeria and wish the best for it.”

He urged Nigerians to focus on the future rather than dwell on past failures, stressing that the country’s destiny remains one of greatness.
