Osun Guber: Ademola Adeleke Floors Oyetola At Supreme Court

On Tuesday, 9 May 2023, the Supreme Court stated Oyetola failed to prove cases of overvoting as alleged in his appeal.

The judgment followed an earlier decision by a three-member panel of the appellate court led by Mohammed Shuaibu, which affirmed his victory, nullifying the judgment of the election petition tribunal.

The election petition tribunal had in January this year nullified the governor’s victory.

The Supreme Court also adopted BVAS as the primary source and dismissed Exhibit BVR submitted by Oyetola.
