Napoli manager Rudi Garcia has said Victor Osimhen will always give his best for the club despite the recent controversial TikTok video row.
Osimhen was bittered after the Partenopei posted a video on their TikTok account this week mocking him for missing a penalty in last weekend’s 0-0 draw at Bologna.
The 24-year-old also had an argument on the touchline with Garcia after he was substituted late in the game.
The forward, however, put all the negativity aside, scoring and also providing an assist in the Serie A champions’ 4-1 win against Udinese on Wednesday night.
Garcia claimed Osimhen is concentrated on the club and will always do his best on the pitch.
“We talked after Bologna, we were all frustrated and angry because we did not get the victory. In these two days, there have been some clumsy incidents on social media. I talked to him again and he is concentrated on the pitch,” Garcia was quoted by Football Italia.
“He will give his best for this jersey, we must all be united, and we are. Playing at home is important.”
