Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen has denied reports his Italian club Napoli controls his social media account, reports ABN TV.
La Republica reported that they have studied the 45-page contract Osimhen signed in 2020 after his move from Lille.
The report claimed that every of Osimhen’s social media posts had to be run through the Napoli directors and lawyers.
According to the publication, Osimhen agreed as part of the image rights clauses to hand over the password of his social media accounts.
The forward took to the social media to debunk the assertion.
“Fake news,” Osimhen wrote on his Twitter handle.
