Orji Kalu Spreading Gospel Of Christ Through Provision Of Infrastructure, Catholic Bishop Says

The Bishop of Umuahia Catholic Diocese, Bishop Lucius Ugorji has applauded the Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu for enabling the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ through the provision of road infrastructure in his Abia North constituency and across the state.

ABN TV gathered that the Clergy spoke on Sunday during his sermon at Mater Dei Cathedral Parish, Umuahia Abia State during the Easter Mass, a day set aside for Christians globally to mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ after His crucifixion.

The clergyman expressed surprise at his recent visit to Abia North where according to him he discovered that a lot of road construction have taken place as well as reconstruction works.

He said the accessibility of the roads have made it easier for evangelists and ministers of God to reach out to rural communities to spread the gospel of Christ and win souls.

He also reminded the former governor that about 20 years ago, he (Kalu) executed the asphalting of the Church premises as well as the donation of electronic piano to the church choir.
