Former Governor of Abia State,Senator Theodore Orji and the senator representing Abia South district,Chief Enyinnaya Abaribe, are among the dignitaries expected at the Agalaba day celebration in honour of the immediate past Governor of the state, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu.
The event which holds tomorrow ,27th December,under the auspices of the Agalaba Peoples Assembly (APA),will be chaired by Barr. Aliyu Egene.
Agalaba Peoples Assembly is the socio cultural organization of the Agalaba people in Obingwa East state constituency.
Orji,who handed over to Ikpeazu as Governor in 2015, is billed to serve as the chief special guest while Abaribe is among the special guests which also includes the former deputy governor of the state, Chief Acho Nwakanma and Chief Erondu Uchenna Erondu.
Chief host of the event and President General of Agalaba Peoples Assembly, Elder Chimezie Ikpeaba, said Ikpeazu is being honoured for his contributions to the development of the Agalaba people.
He also disclosed that the event which will hold at the CTU base, Amuzu, Eastern Ngwa, will feature unity talk, award presentations and cultural dances.
