Only Justice Can End Insecurity, Says Sir Udensi

Interpol Systems Expert and Prime Security Consultant in the Country Sir Chikwe Udensi has said insecurity is a by-product of injustice, insisting that only justice and fair treatment to all can bring to end insecurity in Nigeria.

While insisting that injustice and peace do not co-habit, Sir Udensi in a chat with ABN TV on Thursday added that there is need to foster a sense of justice among all Nigerians.

Earlier in a statement, he urged Nigerians to use the opportunity of this year Eid El-Fitr to express love and peace to their fellow countrymen, saying the sustainable development of the country is anchored on love and peaceful co-existence.

He advised Nigerians to eschew violence and embrace love, unity and peace.

According to Sir Udensi, no nation can achieve greatness in an environment riddled with rancour and chaos.

He said the period calls for a show of love, urging Nigerians particularly Muslim faithful to express love to their neighbours by offering alms, aligning themselves with the Prophet’s teachings which borders on piety, forgiveness, charity, tolerance and peaceful co-existence, among others.

He urged all Nigerians to also uphold these virtues, remain law-abiding as good patriots and ensures sustainable peace and security of the country.

Sir Udensi further counselled Nigerians to be conscious of their health with recourse to the new wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and always observe all laid down precautions of Regular Hand Wash under running water, use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers, Constant Wearing of Nose Mask and Maintaining Social Distancing to avoid further spread.

Recall that the Islamic festival of breaking the fast is celebrated to mark the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
