Barely one week after he made a delivery of 80 three-seater writing desks to pupils of Ezi Igbere community School, Igbere in Bende L.G.A, the Senator representing Abia North, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu has again made a similar gesture to Okoko Item Central Primary School in Bende as part of efforts to effectively represent his constituency.
The visibly happy pupils and their teachers could not hide their feelings as they sang beautiful renditions in appreciation of Sen. Kalu, the Senate Chief Whip, ABN TV reports.
The items were delivered by Sen. Kalu’s Legislative Assistant, Barr Mbila Uma Ayi on Tuesday and received by top management staff of the school.

This gesture is in continuation of the distribution of Educational materials to Schools in Abia North as part of Senator Kalu’s policy to facilitate and provide a conducive academic environment for Abia North pupils and teachers.
ABN TV gathered that in coming weeks, upon the completion of the exercise in Bende, the focus will be shifted to another local government in the senatorial district.
