Ohafia Unrest: Hon. Dike Okwara Pays Condolence Visits To Bereaved Families (Photos)

Following the recent disturbances in Ohafia, Ohafia LGA Abia state, the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA Candidate for state House of Assembly, Ohafia South State Constituency, Hon. Dike Chidozie Okwara on Tuesday paid condolence visits to families who lost their loved ones.

Ms. Chinenye Ajunwa and Mr. Idika were hit down by stray bullets as a result of security lapses at Ebem and Amaekpu Ohafia respectively on 17th and 18 August 2022.

At the visit to their families, Hon. Dike Okwara expressed sadness over the passage of the victims, urging their families to take heart.

“Weep no more, the best is yet to come and God Almighty who sees beyond us shall continue to strengthen thee as you bear the loss.”

He made some cash donations to the two families to assist them to conduct the burial rites.

Hon. Dike Chidozie Okwara also used the opportunity to appreciate the Ezeogo Uduma Obuba of Amaekpu Ohafia, on his efforts and contributions to ensure peace was restored in the community.

Dike Ohafia as he is popularly called was gladly received by the bereaved families and was accompanied by his campaign team.
