Ogun FRSC Urges Motorists To Obey Traffic Rules To Curb Crashes During Easter

The Ogun Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC has tasked motorists to obey traffic rules and regulations to stem crashes during the forthcoming Easter Celebration.

Mr Anthony Uga, the Sector Commander of FRSC in the state, made this known in NAN on Monday in Ota, Ogun.

NAN reports that Christians will celebrate Easter across the country between March 29 and April 1.

Uga noted that the advice had become necessary to motorists to make Easter an accident-free festival.

“People should drive according to extant rules and regulations and not overspeed to prevent avoidable crashes.

“In addition, they should try and manage their speed by installing speed limit devices which is now compulsory for all vehicles,” he said.

The sector commander said speeding is the thrust of FRSC 2024 Corps Corporate Goals as we embark on robust public enlightenment to drive the initiative.

Uga added that they would also embark on motorized patrols on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway to stem accidents during the Easter festival.

He cautioned motorists, especially, during this festive period, against dangerous driving and drunk driving to avoid unnecessary loss of lives.
