The Minister of States for Mines and Steel Development, Dr Uche Ogah has prayed for the quick recovery of the Abia State governor, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.
The Governor had on Tuesday tested positive for COVID-19 after voluntarily submitting himself to NCDC for a test.
In a chat with ABN TV on Tuesday, Dr Ogah who was the APC candidate for the governorship election in the state in the 2019 election stated that it behoves on all citizens of the state to pray for the quick recovery of the governor, adding that it is a divine mandate.
He said this is a period for everyone irrespective of political alignment to pray so that what he called a common enemy, COVID-19 will be defeated.
The Minister in his words said on behalf of himself, his family and the entire people of Isuikwato wish Ikpeazu a quick recovery.
