Former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah has congratulated Abians at the occasion this year’s Easter celebration, urging that they should imbibe the virtues of humility, sacrifice and love which Christ demonstrated.
In a goodwill message on Sunday, the former minister says the celebration of the resurrection of Christ Jesus and His triumph over death is a season of renewal of faith in God and a time for sober reflection.
According to the former minister, “Easter portends a new beginning and a difference from what was obtainable. I call on all citizens to renew themselves in light of a new experience that awaits us all even as we progress to new expectations that the resurrection of our Lord Jesus offers.
“It’s a time of reflection, therefore, I urge my beloved people of Abia and Nigeria at large to live a life of humility to emulate Christ.
“Let’s imbibe the culture of sacrifice, tolerance and peace which Christ symbolize for the good of humanity.”
