Ogah Salutes Oshiomhole At 71, Extols Outstanding Democratic Records

Former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah has eulogised a former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, on his 71st birthday.

The former minister was full of commendation for the former Governor of Edo State, extolling his enviable democratic credentials in current dispensation.

Ogah recalled days of the Edo North senator-will as labour leader, a period that endeared him to many Nigerians, especially the largest pressure group in Nigeria — the civil servants.

Ogah said Oshiomhole has been serving his fatherland with uttermost commitment, dedication and sacrifice, which he said are the hallmark of a statesman of his status.

“Warm congratulations to former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress and Edo North senator-elect, Adams Oshiomhole, on his 70th birthday.

“On this occasion, I pay a special tribute to his unwavering commitment to democracy, good governance and development of a free and open society.

“As a former chairman of our great party, Adams Oshiomhole made his mark and invaluable contributions to the development of APC”, he said.

Ogah prayed to the Almighty God to continue to protect Oshiomhole and grant him more fruitful years in good health even as he joins the nation’s upper legislative chamber.
