Dr Uche Ogah with Rep Benjamin Kalu
Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah has congratulated the member representing Bende Federal Constituency of Abia State, Hon. Benjamin Kalu as he celebrates birthday today.
The Minister described Hon. Kalu as an excellent and quintessential lawmaker who puts the welfare of his people at the forefront in his national assignment.
In a felicitation message on Thursday, the Abia governorship aspirant said Hon. Kalu embodies, humility, peace, hard work and success in his career in business, law and politics which he has deployed in selflessly serving the people of Bende and Abians in general.
Ogah extolled the outspokenness of Hon. Kalu which has earned him the enviable position of the official spokesperson of the House of Representatives.
“I join numerous friends and associates to celebrate my brother, Hon. Benjamin Kalu as he becomes a year older.
“Undoubtedly he is one of the brightest and finest lawmakers not only from Abia but in the entire country.
“His input has brought marvellous results to the people of Bende in infrastructural renewal, human capital development and all indices of development. He is a proud son our dear state, Abia will for a long time have fond memory of,” he said.
The Minister also prayed God to endow Hon. Kalu with perfect health and sound mind in his service to the people.
