Ogah Salutes Hon. Ben Kalu At Golden Jubilee Birthday

Minister of state for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah has congratulated the member representing Bende federal constituency, Hon. Benjamin Kalu as he marks golden jubilee birthday today.

The Minister while extolling Hon. Kalu’s sense of selfless community and national service described him as an Ambassador of effective representation, adding that he has made his people of Bende proud in a short while in the National Assembly.

Ogah further noted that federal lawmaker has used his gift of eloquence to defend democracy as Spokesman of the House and chairman committee of media and public affairs.

In a birthday message made available to ABN TV on Wednesday, Dr. Ogah observed that Hon. Kalu is in the league of APC National Assembly members who have given their constituencies a face lift through massive transformation in infrastructure, empowerment, job opportunities and social amenities.

“No doubt a successful private sector player before he delved into politics, he has deployed his managerial acumen in representing his people to fruitfulness.

“Hon. Ben Kalu is not just a figurehead representative but a visibly present one who understands the yearning of his people and the value of the confidence they had in him when they chose him as their representative. In infrastructure, job creation, provision of social amenities, empowerment, and closeness to the people, he has shown he understands the duty entrusted on his shoulder.

“He has sufficiently demonstrated that he is a blessing to his people, the National Assembly where he serves and our entire country.

“As he marks 50th birthday, God’s hands shall continually be upon him as he strives to give his people the best in his job of representation. On behalf of myself and family, I wish him a happy birthday”.
