The member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency of Abia State, Hon. Obi Aguocha has paid a visit to one of his constituents, and the embattled leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, ABN TV reports.

The lawmaker visited Nnamdi Kanu in the custody of the Department of States Services (DSS) where he has been detained since 2021.

The visit came after reports emerged that Nnamdi Kanu had been secluded from his lawyers, raising concern on his true state of health.

However, the lawmaker after writing to the leadership of the House and DSS was eventually allowed to see Kanu, and the resolution was also reached on granting his lawyers access to him.
