Goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali is expected to be fit for Super Eagles’ friendlies against Ghana and Mali later this month.
Nwabali was forced to leave the pitch during Chippa United’s 2-0 defeat against Mamelodi Sundowns last weekend after sustaining an injury.
The injury raised serious doubts on his availability for the friendlies against the Black Stars and Eagles.
According to reports, the injury sustained by the shot stopper is not serious and he will be available for international duty.
Nwabali shone for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
The 27-year-old conceded thrice in seven appearances with the Super Eagles finishing in second position.
