NUC Approves 26 New Programmes For UniAbuja

National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved 26 new academic programmes for University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) which they are expected to commence from the 2022-2023 academic session.

The new programmes are, B. ENG. Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering; B. ENG. Architecture;. B. ENG. Agricultural Engineering;. BSc. Tourism and Hospitality Management;. BNSc. Nursing; BMLS Medical Laboratory Science; BSc. Journalism and Media Studies; B. Sc. Film and Multimedia Studies; BSc. Strategic Communication.

Others are BSc Development and Communication Studies; BSc. Public Relations; BSc. Advertising; BSc. Information and Media Studies; BSc. Broadcasting; BSc. Biochemistry; BSc. Zoology; BSc. Botany; BSc. Industrial Design; BSc. Surveying and Geoinformatics.

Also approved are BSc. Quantity Surveying; BSc. Building; BSc. Estate Management; BSc. Urban and Regional Planning; BSc. Geology and Mining; Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.); LL. B. Common and Islamic Law.

UniAbuja Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abdul-Rasheed Na’Allah, who shared the information on his Facebook page encouraged prospective students to take advantage of the available programmes in the school.

He said: “It is time for celebration of the new capacity attained by the great UniAbuja to offer new academic programmes for interested young Nigerians. This is very exciting and no one can take this joy from the University of Abuja.”
