NPFL: We Are In Aba To Beat Enyimba — Deji Ayeni

Akwa United head coach, Deji Ayeni insists his side can beat Enyimba in Wednesday’s Nigeria Premier Football League matchday fixture.

The Promise Keepers suffered a shocking 2-0 home defeat to NPFL newcomers on matchday one.

“Victory against Enyimba is not negotiable if Bendel Insurance can come to our backyard and beat us, then we have spoken to ourselves and we’ve made the boys know that we got to be resolute, determined, dedicated, and very motivated for us to go back to winning ways,” Ayeni told the club’s media.

”The results of the day one matches show that if you put your house together you can get 3 points anywhere, so there is nothing other than victory come Wednesday.

“We watched the game against Insurance and during the week we work our mistakes to make them corrected.”
