NPFL Fines Niger Tonardoes For Security Breach

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) board has fined Niger Tonardoes N3m for failing to provide adequate security in their home game against Rangers last weekend.

The Ikon Allah Boys fell to a 2-0 defeat against Rangers.

Tornadoes, according to the NPFL breached its framework by also failing to control their fans.

The Minna club have 48 hours to appeal this decision.

The modest side are battling to escape relegation from the top-flight this season.

The club currently occupy 18th position on the table with 24 points from 22 games.
