Nomination Of Abia Indigene Into Fed Cabinet Indication Of Buhari’s Belief In Inclusiveness, Says Onuigbo

Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency of Abia State, Rep. Sam Onuigbo has applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for nominating an indigene of the state and his constituent, Chief Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh, as a Minister-designate in his cabinet.

The federal lawmaker in a letter of appreciation to the President on Tuesday made available to ABN TV, said the nomination is an indication that Buhari is a firm believer in inclusiveness and a testimony to his commitment to ensuring that many qualified Nigerians are given opportunity to serve their fatherland.

He said, “This appointment is an eloquent testimony to your belief in inclusiveness which has seen you ensure that your government touches Nigerians everywhere. Indeed, this is also evident in the fact that under your administration, the hitherto abandoned Umuahia-Ikwuano-Ikot Ekpene federal road is now being reconstructed to the relief of my constituents and other commuters.

“Under your leadership also, the federal government has been able to undertake two massive erosion control works –one at Amankwo Ezeleke Amachara in Umuahia South LGA and the other at the Okwe-Obuohia road, Ikwuano LGA—at the cost of over One Billion Naira. These are in addition to several other projects. You are indeed a true Nigerian and history will be kind to you.

“On behalf of the good people of great Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South federal constituency, I thank you for this nomination of our illustrious son. We further thank you for all you have been doing for this federal constituency.

“Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest regards.”
