This is also as the leaders told President Muhammadu Buhari that they were saddened with the sidelining of the region in the security architecture of the country.

They spoke when the President’s Chief of Staff, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari led a federal government deletion to a meeting with Southeast leaders at the Enugu Government House.

Gambari was accompanied by foreign affairs minister, Mr Geoffrey Onyeama, his labour counterpart, Senator Chris Ngige, among others.
