Afaraukwu Ibeku, Umuahia North local government area of Abia state hometown of the Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) was on Wednesday engulfed in heavy protest over what the community call police intimidation.
ABN TV gathered that the locals are accusing one Doris Uzumma of using the police and other security agencies to intimate them.
A source who spoke to our correspondent on the condition of anonymity also alleged that some land grabbers who engage in selling the community lands are fuelling the crisis in the community.
Describing Uzumma Doris as a settler, the community said they want her to vacate immediately.
ABN TV had brought you a report that Uzunma Doris was alleged to have obstructed the construction of road projects awarded by the state government.
She allegedly refused the offload of materials meant for the construction in a land she claims belongs to her.
