Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, a lawyer to the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has said that his client may not face trial.
Ejimakor in a recent tweet disclosed that no trial would not hold due to the manner and circumstances surrounding the arrest and repatriation of Kanu. He added that the trial should be opposed and not monitored.
“Kanu’s trial is supposed to be OPPOSED, not monitored. Those of you wanting to monitor his trial or wishing him fair trial, thank you.”

“But sorry to disappoint you: There won’t be any trial. Never. If any trial occurs, it’s those that renditioned him that will be on trial.”, he tweeted.
