NLC
The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has set the Federal Government a seven-day deadline to modify all perceived anti-poor measures or face a nationwide strike beginning August 2.
These measures include the recent increase in the price of gasoline at the pump.
This comes as the NLC urged all of its affiliates and state councils to mobilize workers and other Nigerians, including civil society supporters, for a long-term strike and large protests if the government fails to satisfy its demands.
