The nine students kidnapped along the East-West Road in Ughelli, Delta State, have been released.
They were freed barely 24 hours after abduction.
Confirming the rescue, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Edafe Bright, wrote on his X handle late Monday night: “All nine of the victims have regained their freedom pls.”

Recall that on Monday, the students were abducted.
