Top-rated Nigerian artists are set to give residents of Umuahia and its environs a memorable new year celebration with the Connak Foundation Youth Arise Concert, ABN TV reports.
Scheduled to take place on January 1, 2022, at Umuahia Township Stadium, Umuahia Abia State, artistes expected to perform live include Nigga Raw, D’banj, Kcee, Chike, Mayorkun, and Patoranking.
The event will be hosted by Okey Bakassi while co-hosts will be Funnybone and MC Amana.
DJ Obi will thrill guests with music.
The new year day event which commences 6pm will feature music, dance, and comedy.
Organisers of the event, Connak Foundation announced that admission is free in addition to free buses to convey guests home after the event.

Routes expected to cover are
1.Ossah to Express tower routes
2. Aba Rd to Ubakala route
3. Ugwunchara to Nkwoegwu routes
4. Ikot – Ekpene to Imagine route
Connak Foundation also invites those interested in singing to come to Rixos continental hotel off Secretariat Road with their instruments for an audition on 29th December at 8am.
According to the Foundation, prizes to be won include, 1st prize N700k, 2nd prize N500k and 3rd prize N300k.
The event is supported by Hearts & Minds Events, Rapid FM 96.5, Life Continental beer, and HIP TV.
