Nigeria’s First Ladies Unite Against Gender-Based Violence (Photos)

The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, led a historic signing of a compact with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to combat gender-based violence and dismantle harmful social norms.

The ceremony, held at the State House Banquet Hall in Abuja, brought together First Ladies from across the nation, including Abia State’s First Lady, Mrs. Priscilla Chidinma Otti.

The compact signals a united front in the fight against gender-based violence, with influential leaders prioritizing women’s empowerment.

Senator Tinubu’s leadership and commitment to gender equality have been instrumental in driving this initiative.
