Nigerian Music star, Timaya has been arrested by officers of the Nigerian Police Force.

ABN TV learned that Timaya was whisked away on Thursday morning over an alleged ‘Hit and Run’ Incident.

On Wednesday, a lady accused the singer of hitting her sister with his vehicle and zooming off.

The lady,  Osinubi Omowumi, who claimed to be the sister of the victim, took to instagram to accuse the music star of ramming his car into her sister after she challenged him for damaging her car.

In a video now viral on Social media, Timaya was seen being led to a waiting police van by officers.

Omowumi further disclosed that the singer nearly killed the victim and when he was asked to check the damage he caused all he asked for was her phone number.

The victim has since then landed in the hospital and her sister shared a video which showed the extent of the hit on her.

The victims car also got damaged and according to the sister, all efforts to reach Timaya had been futile as he continued to block people who reached out to him over the issue on social media.
